ABOUT THE STAFF:

Marcy Schwartz was born and raised in a suburb just outside of NYC. She was employed by the Department of Developmental Disabilities for 20 years running group and family care homes. She has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Education.

In 2001 she moved to Massachusetts and began opening women's fitness centers. She owned 5 centers which she then sold. Her dream has always been to work with animals. After helping handicapped individuals and women, it was time to pursue her passion, hence the beginnings of Bow Wow Bathhouse LLC.

Marcy has been surrounded by animals all her life. She worked at an animal hospital for 6 years while working and attending school. She loved the contact with all sorts of animals and vowed that one day she would give to the animals as she had the handicapped and the women at her fitness facilities.

In February 2006 that dream became a reality with the opening of Bow Wow Bathhouse. She treats the animals as if they were her own and has formed an everlasting bond with both animals and clients.

Marcy resides with her 3 dogs, Katrina, a rescue from guess where?, Riley, a rescue from American Lab Rescue and Ricky. There is also Frizz the cat.

Palma joined Bow Wow Bathhouse in 2007, as a certified Pet Stylist. With 10 years of experience, Palma still attends seminars to keep up with anything new that may arise.
