Pet owners are extremely selective with their choice of temporary homes for their beloved animals. Because Bow Wow Bathhouse is an extraordinarily nurturing and fun-filled environment, our clients come from a wide radius to ensure their pets are as comfortable and happy as possible in their boarding while their “parents” are elsewhere. Our location in scenic Whately, Mass., is conveniently located in an area known for its rustic charms, including plentiful green spaces such as Look Park in Northampton, as well as countless hiking trails in the vicinity of Western MA.

We are close to an abundance of towns and communities including Conway, Deerfield, Ashfield, Williamsburg, Leeds, Florence, Hatfield, Sunderland, Haydenville, Easthampton, Hadley, Amherst, Leverett, Montague, and Shelburne Falls. Animal lovers also bring their companions to us from the larger nearby cities such as Greenfield, Springfield, and Holyoke.

Students make up a portion of our clientele, especially during vacations when they must leave their pets for a spell. The Pioneer Valley is the home of the famous Five Colleges – the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and Amherst, Hampshire, Smith, and Mt. Holyoke Colleges – and a number of other higher educational institutions.
