Dog Day Care at Bow Wow Bathhouse

Dog Play: Dog day care works just like daycare for children. Drop your dog off in the morning on your way to work, and while you slave away, your pampered pooch is pampered indeed! Dog Day Care is an organized, controlled and monitored environment in which a group of friendly dogs, from multiple families, can interact and play throughout the day in an enclosed building and outdoor yard.

Depending on your dog's activity level and the curriculum set by the daycare owners, your dog may enjoy the day playing with other dogs, playing with people, or getting loving attention.

Most dogs that have had prior social experiences with other dogs will enjoy attending daycare. There is a screening process where we perform temperment testing. Daycare is not a fit for all dogs. Some dogs do fail temperment testing due to aggression that is often fear-based. Other dogs pass testing but exhibit more stress than enjoyment. Dog daycare is like a child's playground and by allowing dogs to play together there is a risk of injury.

Most injuries are minor cuts and bruises, just as a child gets, but there is always a risk of more serious injuries. While many of us feel that the benefits of dog daycare far outweigh the risks, you should be aware that if you are unwilling to take this risk, you should not bring your dog to daycare.

Our staff works very hard at organizing the right play group for your dog but this is not an exact science. Sometimes two dogs that normally play together can have a day where they are just not getting along. We constantly monitor the groups and make adjustments as needed.

Day Care hours: Monday through Friday drop off between 7:30 am & 8:30 am. Pick up at noon for half day between 4 and 5:30 pm for Full day. We close promptly at 5:30 pm, Any pet left after 5:30 will be boarded overnight at the owner's expense.

Rates: $29 a day
$20 half day
$140 five full days
$95 five half days
